About The Author

Sister Dorothy Ruth Yager started the Encourager in 1989 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The Lord spoke to her one day to write to encourage people and God gave her the name “The Encourager”, and her walk in the Revelation of God began. Dottie Grossarth was her married name at the time. When she divorced, she reclaimed her name Yager back and dropped the ministries name, “Through the Lily of the Valley Ministries” and “The Encourager” was birthed.
